Short CV

She has been working at the University of Vigo since 1993 after working at the Universidad de Valladolid and participating in several stays at Northeastern University (Boston, USA). Telecommunications Engineer and PhD (1997) in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidade de Vigo. She is currently Associate Professor of the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the University of Vigo (since 1998). Her research interests are in antenna analysis and synthesis and radar detection systems. She is currently the vice-president of the Galician Association of Telecommunication Engineers, secretary of the Board of Directors of the PuntoGal Association and member of the Women and Science Unit of Galicia. In addition, she held other positions such as director of the School of Telecommunication Engineering, coordinator of the Master in Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Vigo, general director of PuntoGal, commissioner for the Technological Vigo at the University of Vigo, co-founder of the Spanish section of the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE). She is author and co-author of articles and scientific publications, has participated in numerous research projects related to communications systems, and is a reviewer for several scientific journals and the ANEP (Agencia Nacional de Evaluación y Prospectiva).
