The project focusses on the improvement of the technology and of the resilience against electrical and environmental threats. The final GaN components and devices will demonstrate an improved performance and protection of the devices in harsh environments.<\/p>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Research Field&gt; <\/strong>Microwave electronics engineering<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education Level&gt;<\/strong> Bachelor Degree<\/p>\n<h3>Skills\/Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering, or Physics with a strong background in microwave integrated electronics.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent academic record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Specific Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Background (Research\/Professional) in microwave integrated circuits electronics (both active and passive circuits, hybrid or monolithic).<\/li>\n<li>Background (Research\/Professional) in vector calibrated microwave measurements, linear and non linear.<\/li>\n<li>Background (Research\/Professional) in microwave transistor characterization<\/li>\n<li>Proficient use of microwave electronic circuit simulation software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Languages: ENGLISH<\/h3>\n<h3>Level: Excellent<\/h3>\n<h2>Additional Information<\/h2>\n<h3>Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must have at least a Bachelor\u00b4s degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering or in Physics. Preference those with a strong background in microwave integrated electronics.<\/li>\n<li>All the candidates who cannot prove the required academic degree\u00a0(degree officially certified by the Spanish government)\u00a0will be immediately withdrawn from the selection process.<\/li>\n<li>Full-time equivalent research or professional experience\u2019 is measured from the date when the candidate obtained the degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Selection process<\/h2>\n<h4><em><strong><u>Important remark<\/u><\/strong><u> :<\/u><\/em><u> <\/u><em><u>this is a Call for expressions of interest<\/u><\/em><\/h4>\n<p>The Universidade de Vigo has his own\u00a0<strong>official application process<\/strong>,\u00a0hiring on the basis of merit and is strongly committed to equity and diversity within its community.
