Breve CV

Manuel Caeiro Rodríguez é Doutor Enxeñeiro de Telecomunicación (2007) pola Universidade de Vigo. Especializouse no desenvolvemento de sistemas web e na aplicación de tecnoloxías da información e comunicación á educación, particularmente no campo das linguaxes de modelado educativo, sistemas de xestión de procesos, aprendizaxe autorregulado, learning analytics e recursos educativos abertos. Participou en distintos proxectos de investigación, tanto en convocatorias europeas (7), como nacionais(4) e autonómicas. Actualmente participa nun proxecto de investigación do Plan Nacional de I+D sobre a realización de analítica multimodal con dispositivos wearables. No bienio 2012-2013 dirixiu unha rede de investigación financiada pola Xunta de Galicia que foi renovada por 2 anos máis en 2014-2015, sendo o seu Investigador Principal. No tocante a súa participación en contratos con empresas acredítase a colaboración en máis de 30 contratos nos que se realizó transferencia de tecnoloxía de carácter innovador, especialmente no contexto de aplicacións web e de sistemas de soporte á educación. Destaca como Investigador Principal en catro contratos con Gradiant no eido do learning analytics. Na, actualidade, é presidente do comité de empresa de PDI Laboral Pontevedra da Universidade de Vigo.
