Breve CV
Marta Gómez Araújo naceu en Vigo en 1975. Recibiu o título de Enxeñeira de Telecomunicación en 1999 e o de Doutora Enxeñeira de Telecomunicación en 2008, ambos pola Universidade de Vigo. Entre 1999 e 2000 colaborou co Departamento de Tecnoloxías das Comunicacións da Universidade de Vigo como enxeñeira de proxecto e entre 2000 e 2005 traballou como enxeñeira de radiofrecuencia na empresa de telecomunicacións Egatel S.L. encadrada no ámbito da investigación e desenvolvemento de dispositivos electrónicos aplicados a sistemas de radiofrecuencia e microondas. Actualmente, é Profesora Titular na Universidade de Vigo e forma parte do grupo de investigación de Antenas, Radio e Tecnoloxías Ópticas do Departamento de Teoría do Sinal e Comunicacións. Entre as súas liñas de investigación atópanse os métodos numéricos de electromagnetismo computacional aplicado a materiais convencionais, plasmónicos e metamateriales, estudos de compatibilidade electromagnética, deseño de antenas e radar.
