For the second year in a row, the researcher Francisco Javier Díaz Otero will coordinate a European Industrial Doctorate in the area of integrated photonics, under the Marie Curie actions of European Training Networks (ITN).

DRIVE-In (Integrated Photonics for the next generation of autonomous Vehicles using InP technologies) is an initiative of four years of duration in the framework of the H2020 Program, with the aim of providing training to new researchers in the field of integrated photonics. The ultimate goal is the application of this technology to the automotive industry through the development of new kits and software simulation tools to facilitate its integration.
