QSI is a MSCA-DN doctoral training network aimed at training a cohort of doctoral researchers to take the following essential steps in the field of cybersecurity. Through the development of new technologies in the research of quantum cryptographic schemes for quantum networks and the distribution of quantum keys with improved security and performance, practical applications are expected to be achieved to ensure data security.
Simultaneously, with a collaborative interdisciplinary long-term approach, expertise from all relevant communities will be combined to address fundamental issues in secure communications in the quantum era and its important applications.
The project consortium includes 6 other European universities of excellence (Sorbonne Universite, Universita degli Studi dei Padova, Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum, Universiteit Van Amsterdam, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Danmarks Tekniske Universitet), distributed across 5 countries.
