The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of students experiencing acute, episodic, and chronic stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms by promoting mental health and social inclusion. This would increase their chances of developing normally within university society and prevent the reappearance of the disorder. The virtual reality (VR) application will be implemented in the form of “chill spots” that students can use as a relaxation training program during a crisis. The chill spots will be designed and placed in such a way that they eliminate external noise and isolate the user from the real environment. The designed VR application will create an immersive multisensory environment that applies cognitive-behavioral therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing models, and will be tailored to the students’ needs. A relaxation session will last about 10 minutes, making it possible to complete it during a single break.
