
The project aims to design, develop and validate a pedagogical methodology supported by a collaborative virtual environment simulating a city‑building scenario, in order to embed Problem‑Based Learning (PBL) in engineering education and to spark interest in engineering among secondary and vocational school students. The virtual city environment enables secondary and higher education students to work together on engineering challenges situated in a simulated urban context, fostering learning via games and simulations while enhancing skills like critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and communication.
