Work to be performed:
Development of the mechanical and thermal part for the design and prototyping of a very low Earth orbit (VLEO) satellite platform with optical payloads and propulsion systems.
Functions to be performed:
- Design the satellite structures for subsystem, payload, and propulsion integration.
- Verify compliance with platform and payload requirements through structural analysis.
- Develop thermal control strategies to ensure system stability and performance.
- Evaluate thermal requirements through simulations to guarantee adherence.
- Build a prototype for integrating satellite platform systems and document structural and thermal analyses, justifying mechanical and thermal management designs
Required qualifications: Baccalaureate
Gross monthly salary: 1.200,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 20 hours per week
