Contract duration: 1 month and a half.
Work to be performed:
Experimental researcher in quantum hacking against QKD receivers.
Functions to be performed:
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others:
- Read scientific literature in the area of quantum communications and quantum key distribution systems.
- Analyse the security of the detector unit in these systems and develop methodology for its certification against imperfections.
- Develop an automated test bench for detector testing against security vulnerabilities.
- Author scientific publications that report own research.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Science or Engineering, like Physics, Mathematics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
Gross monthly salary: 2.150,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 37.5 hours per week
