Work to be performed
Senior scientist researcher in quantum communication technology.
Functions to be performed
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others:
- Managing the work of a quantum technology lab, manly focusing on the day by day duties.
- Apply for domestic and international research grants.
- Supervision over the acquisition of scientific material.
- Design and supervision of the installation of a quantum technology lab.
- Research of novel quantum protocols to be implemented experimentally.
- Supervision of the writing and publication of the scientific results in the form of submission to peer-reviewed journals.
- Report writing for European projects.
- Lab support for the different task involving attacks and countermeasures on QKD systems.
Required qualifications: PhD degree (or equivalent) with a profile in physics, quantum communication, or optics.
Gross monthly salary: 5.000,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Worday: 37.5 hours per week
