Fixed-term contract: 3 months
Work to be performed:
Research on experimental quantum time synchronization and other quantum communication processes.
Functions to be performed:
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others:
– Development and testing of a quantum time transfer experimental system.
– Firmware and software for time tagging and time data processing.
– Author scientific publications that report own research.
– Stock and outfit an experimental laboratory in quantum communications.
– Maintain the lab equipment in working order.
– Monitoring a tutoring of PhD and Master students.
Required qualifications: PhD degree (or equivalent) with a profile in physics, quantum communication, or optics.
Gross monthly salary: 2.187,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 24 hours per week
