Work to be performed:
Research on experimental quantum time synchronization and other quantum communication processes.
Functions to be performed:
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others:
- Development and testing of a quantum time transfer experimental system.
- Firmware and software for time tagging and time data processing.
- Author scientific publications that report own research.
- Stock and outfit an experimental laboratory in quantum communications.
- Maintain the lab equipment in working order.
- Monitoring a tutoring of PhD and Master students.
Required qualifications: PhD degree (or equivalent) with a profile in physics, engineering, or optics.
Gross monthly salary: 2.734,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 30,00 hours per week
