Fixed-term contract: 3 months
Work to be performed:
Senior researcher in experimental security analysis of quantum key distribution.
Functions to be performed:
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others:
-Read scientific literature in the area of quantum communications and quantum key distribution systems.
– Analyse the security of these systems and develop methodology for their certification against imperfections.
– Author scientific publications that report own research.
– Stock and outfit an experimental laboratory in security analysis and certification of quantum key distribution systems.
– Maintain the lab equipment in working order.
– Communicate with central technical support and external contractors
Required qualifications: PhD degree (or equivalent) with a profile in physics, telecommunications engineering, electronics engineering, or optics.
Gross monthly salary: 3.450,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 28 hours per week
