Fixed-term contract: 3 months
Work to be performed:
Senior scientist researcher in quantum communication technology.
Functions to be performed:
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others:
– Managing the work of a quantum technology lab, manly focusing on the day by day duties.
– Apply for domestic and international research grants.
– Supervision over the acquisition of scientific material.
– Design and supervision of the installation of a quantum technology lab.
– Research of novel quantum protocols to be implemented experimentally.
– Supervision of the writing and publication of the scientific results in the form of submission to peer-reviewed journals.
– Report writing for European projects.
– Lab support for the different task involving attacks and countermeasures on QKD systems.
Required qualifications: PhD, preferable in the fields of Physics, Optics, Mathematics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
Gross monthly salary: 5.000,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 37.5 hours per week
