Domingo Docampo earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exact Sciences from the University of Valladolid in 1976 and obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1984. Since 1992, he has been a Full Professor in the field of Signal Theory and Telecommunications at ETSET in Vigo. He served as the director of ETSET from 1988 to 1990 and the Department of Communication Technologies from 1991 to 1994 and again from 1996 to 1998. He held the position of rector at the University of Vigo from 1998 to 2006. In recent years, he has focused his research activities on comparative international education.
