Telecommunications Engineer specializing in Telematics since 2001 and Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering since 2010, both from the University of Vigo. From June 2001 to February 2012, I held various teaching positions in the Telematics Engineering Department at the School of Telecommunications Engineering in Vigo (guest lecturer, associate professor, assistant professor, interim contracted professor). Currently, I am a associate professor. My main research focus in recent years has been on the application of web technologies, artificial intelligence, semantics, and social recommenders, with a strong emphasis on topics related to e-learning. I have participated in a significant number of research projects (both public and private calls) at the regional, national, and international levels. I am the author of several articles published in JCR-ISI indexed journals and have presented at numerous international conferences. Additionally, I have authored books related to the teaching I have been conducting over the years as a professor.
