Artemio Mojón Ojea is a Telecommunications Engineer (specializing in Telematics) from the University of Santiago de Compostela and holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the School of Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Vigo. He has served as Vice-Director of this Department and as Secretary of the School. Currently, he is again Vice-Director of the Department and Coordinator of the School’s Tutorial Action Plan. Throughout his extensive career, he has taught at all university levels, supervised doctoral theses, and numerous final degree projects. In terms of research, his main areas of interest are bioengineering and the processing of biological signals, with a special focus on the study of blood pressure and the assessment and modification of cardiovascular risk. As a result, he has participated in numerous publications and projects.
