The Applied Human Machine Intelligence in East Africa (AHUMAIN) project aims to promote the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the East Africa region. The main goal is to improve technological and educational capabilities in the countries of this area, through AI training and the development of technological solutions applied to key sectors such as agriculture, health, and energy.

Through cooperation between universities in Europe and Africa, AHUMAIN focuses on creating educational programs to train African students and professionals in the use of AI, helping them address local problems more efficiently. Additionally, the project fosters the exchange of knowledge between institutions so that both Europe and Africa can benefit from the use of advanced technologies.

The project aims to improve the lives of people in Africa through the practical application of AI to optimize processes such as crop prediction, medical diagnosis, and energy management, thereby contributing to the social and economic development of the region.
