This project focuses on ultra-dense networks without cells, considering challenges at their end (prediction of demands and available resources, allocation of resources, computing at the terminals and D2D communications), backhaul (self-backhauling) and core (core-less distributed management), as well as “slicing” resources through the entire hierarchy.
