The objective of this project is to generate an analysis methodology to identify and mitigate thermoelastic deformations in space optical instruments. This methodology will integrate the entire process through a common language generated from the measurement of the final error or uncertainty of the instrument. All of this will contribute to improving the stability of small satellite platforms, promoting their use for high stability space applications. Along with the methodology, several computer tools will also be developed for use in future missions.
