The objective of this European industrial training network is to provide cutting-edge training to 4 researchers in the emerging field of integrated photonics, promoting its application in the automotive industry through the development of new process design kits (PDK) of Indium phosphide (InP), as well as the creation of disruptive simulation tools and modeling procedures for use in optoelectronic systems (combined integrated photonics and microelectronics).

Coordinated by atlanTTic as leader and academic partner, the consortium is completed with VPIphotonics GmbH as industrial partner and another series of entities from different countries (Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich Hertz Institute, HHI, Bright Photonics BV and CTAG).
