Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo (2002) and Full Professor in the field of Telematics Engineering at the University of Vigo, teaching in the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Technologies, Master’s in Telecommunications Engineering, and the Interuniversity Master’s in Cybersecurity. She is also part of the DOCTIC Program at the International Doctoral School of the University of Vigo, having supervised 6 doctoral theses and currently mentoring 8 ongoing projects. Her current research activity focuses on the application of data analysis techniques, machine learning, data mining, and the provision of social intelligence in various application areas. Throughout her research career, she has participated in 10 international projects and around 20 national projects in competitive calls, disseminating her results in more than 40 indexed journals and presenting over 100 communications at conferences.
