He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering (specialization in Telematics) obtained in November 2000 and a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering earned in March 2007, both from the University of Vigo. His main research areas include wireless networks, multi-agent systems, P2P networks, recommender systems, personal devices, and mobile services. He has published 18 articles in international journals, over 35 articles in international conferences, contributed to two books, and authored four book chapters. He has served as a member of the Technical Program Committee (TPC) for conferences and has been involved in reviewing articles for international journals. In 2008, he conducted a research stay at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. He has participated in various research projects, including European projects, those funded by the National R&D+i Plan, several regional projects, and projects with companies, acting as the principal investigator for several of them.
