Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Santiago de Compostela (1990) and PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo (1998). Since 2008, he is full professor. Research interests: next-generation wireless networks, smart grids, smart services, data analytics. He has authored over 100 articles in relevant international journals, led national and European projects, holds three US patents, and has founded two spin-offs.
