The MedPer_DC project focuses on the early detection of cognitive deterioration and eleven research teams from Spain are participating, coordinated by the Salamanca Biomedical Research Institute. Its objective is the integration of clinical, molecular, proteomic, genomic, social care, environmental and behavioral data using advanced artificial intelligence techniques for data processing and analysis. The idea is to generate predictive models for preclinical detection of cognitive impairment in a target population of people aged 55 to 70 years recruited in seven health centers in six autonomous communities. The team of researchers from atlanTTic are working on the design of AI algorithms for the detection of mild cognitive impairment based on voice processing, for example, through acoustic and language aspects.
