Functions to be performed
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others:
– Read scientific literature in the field of quantum communication and quantum key distribution (QKD) systems.
– Prepare the software architecture design for satellite QKD. Select efficient algorithms and devise a software design plan.
– Identify software and hardware constraints specific to the systems used in QuTechSpace in close alignment with the project technical baseline and the system requirements. Specify test cases to validate post-processing software.
Required qualifications: PhD degree, preferable in the fields of Physics, Optics, Mathematics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
Gross monthly salary: 3.600,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 37.5 hours per week
