Work to be performed
The hired person will join the Signal Processing in Communications Group (GPSC, gpsc.uvigo.es) to work on the FELDSPAR project, which develops methods to enhance privacy in federated learning. The hired person will contribute to the research and implementation of secure methods for machine learning in multikey scenarios. The position is compatible with pursuing a PhD.
Functions to be performed
- Research and development of new cryptographic methods and protocols to improve privacy in federated learning in multikey scenarios.
- Implementation and testing of the resulting encryption, aggregation, and computation methods, and evaluation of their impact on data privacy in multikey scenarios.
- Execution of experiments and simulation of realistic conditions to test the performance of the developed algorithms and protocols.
- Management of scientific reports: description of the designed tools and the results obtained in scientific journals and/or conference proceedings.
Required qualifications: Master s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
Gross monthly salary: 1.800,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 37.5 hours per week
