The FastFlow5G project selected in the open call of the ORCA program of the European Union, focuses on instantaneous end-to-end flow latency optimization in 4G/5G cellular networks. It deploys a complete communication system in test‑beds and uses mechanisms that, when high latency is detected, automatically migrate core network functions to the edge of the network without user intervention, aiming to enable real-time critical applications such as remote drone control or industrial robotics.
