Indefinite contract.
Work to be performed:
Experimental research on quantum communication
Functions to be performed:
Free-space quantum communication experiments
Photon-pair generation experiments
Single-photon and photon-pair state detection and characterization
Simulation of optics (OpticStudio Zemax, Lumerical or similar)
Authoring scientific publications reporting on original research
Supervision of PhD and Master´s students
Required qualifications: Master´s degree or equivalent in Physics, Electronic/Telecom/Optical Engineering
Gross monthly salary: 3.000,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 37.5 hours per week
