Indefinite contract.
Work to be performed:
Investigate the security of practical implementations of quantum key distribution Protocols
Functions to be performed:
- Read scientific literature in the field of quantum communication and quantum key distribution (QKD) systems.
- Develop both analytical and numerical security tests of quantum key distribution protocols with a partial characterization of the behavior of their devices.
- Perform numerical simulations on the performance (i.e. secret key rate versus distance) of these systems.
- Participate in seminars and scientific meetings.
- Write scientific articles
Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
Gross monthly salary: 2.250,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 37,5 hours per week
