The agricultural sector faces significant challenges arising from climate change, as well as the need to move towards more efficient and sustainable resource management. In this context, space technologies and Earth observation offer new opportunities to improve decision-making through the use of data and digital tools. The AgroSpace project promotes innovative solutions based on Earth observation, precision agriculture and space telecommunications. To demonstrate their potential, the project will develop three pilot initiatives focused on assessing climate-related damage, optimizing agricultural resource management, and identifying sector challenges through an open innovation methodology.
