Contract duration: 6 months.
Work to be performed:
Postdoctoral researcher in experimental security analysis of quantum key distribution
Functions to be performed:
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others:
- Read scientific and technical literature in the area of photon counting, quantum communication, quantum key distribution systems, and their certification methodology.
- Analyze the security of single-photon detectors in these systems and refine methodology for their certification against imperfections.
- Perform experiments testing for imperfections in single-photon detectors.
- Author scientific publications and technical reports.
Required qualifications: PhD degree in Physics or Engineering
Gross monthly salary: 2.562,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 37,5 hours per week
