Indefinite contract.
Work to be performed: Theoretical basic research on light-matter interactions in the presence of temporal inhomogeneities
Functions to be performed:
- Read scientific literature on the topic of time-varying photonic metamaterials.
- First-principles mathematical modeling of optic-wave physics in canonical geometries under space-time-varying polarization responses.
- Computer programming and subsequent analytic/numerical simulations of these models.
- Write scientific papers.
Required qualifications: BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Electromagnetic/Photonic Engineering or Physics
Gross monthly salary: 2.050,00 € (including the apportionments of extra payments)
Workday: 37,5 hours per week
