Exploring the immense possibilities that emerge in the fields of education and healthcare through technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of our focal points. Our researchers work on designing and developing digital applications and services in the educational environment through digital education platforms, as well as in the healthcare and social-health fields to assist in patient detection and improvement through intelligent conversational assistants and chronobiology.
Moreover, AI, as a cross-cutting vector for digital services, has led to significant advances in multimedia technologies (natural language processing (NLP), natural language generation (NLG), image processing, etc.).
In another context, the ubiquity of the internet and the widespread use of mobile devices are creating a new social paradigm where vast amounts of data (audio, video, location, etc.) are generated consciously and/or unconsciously. Our researcher’s work in electronic services plays a key role in leveraging all this information and metadata. Technologies like cloud computing and data management are essential elements for the ingestion, automation, processing, storage, and distribution of massive amounts of heterogeneous data and for their value realization through their application in various sectors, including education, healthcare, industry, agriculture, environment, and space.
Application of technologies such as artificial intelligence, data science and engineering in various fields, including health, education, and offerings, contributes to the design of intelligent services, making this domain one of our flagship areas.
