Arias Acuña, Alberto Marcos

Marcos Arias Acuña is a Telecommunications Engineer and  Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo in 1991 and 1997, respectively. He has been an Associate Professor since 1998 in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications, teaching radio communications since 1992. He has worked on projects related to antennas for satellite communications and radio astronomy, as well as communication systems such as DVB-T, LMDS, and UMTS. His research encompasses various areas, including reflective antennas, feeders (arrays or horns) for reflective antennas, shaped reflectors, communication systems, high-frequency techniques for modeling electromagnetic problems, and systems engineering.
