Doctor in Telecommunications Engineering. Since 2012, he has been a Full Professor in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the University of Vigo. He served as Vice-Rector for University Extension (2001-2002) and as Vice-Rector for University Extension and Students (2002-2006) at the University of Vigo. Since June 2018, he has held the position of Commissioner for New Projects at the University of Vigo. Between 2000 and 2003, he was a board member of the Association of Telecommunications Engineers of Galicia. He is co-author of more than 120 publications. Additionally, he has participated in over 40 R&D projects obtained through competitive calls related to the following research lines: antenna analysis and design, electromagnetic computation, Terahertz technology, and radiocommunication systems (radar, satellites, etc.).
