Telecommunications Engineer and Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo, obtained in 1991 and 2000 respectively. Currently, he is an associate professor at the University of Vigo and a member of the Department of Telematics Engineering and the research group Network Laboratory. His research focuses on the analysis of quality of service mechanisms on the internet and performance analysis.
