WITDOM aims to deliver a framework for end-to-end (E2E) data protection in untrusted and fast-evolving ICT environments. The project focuses particularly on data outsourcing scenarios, where new threats, vulnerabilities and risks emerging from novel usage models require end-to-end security solutions that remain effective throughout the entire lifecycle of the supported applications. The framework will be instantiated and validated in two realistic application domains: outsourced processing of genetic data and outsourced financial services running on private and public cloud infrastructures.
