The project focuses on enhancing the experiences of individuals traversing the main European pilgrimage routes, allowing them access to the cultural offerings of nearby rural areas such as museums and heritage sites through technological tools and innovation strategies.
In turn, this will enable these regions, which face significant economic and demographic challenges, to benefit from pilgrim transit. Efforts will also be made to identify gaps and obstacles, as well as best practices and areas where research and innovation can develop new solutions for successful cooperation.
The consortium for this project is completed with 15 partners from various institutions in Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, and Norway, as well as a series of associated entities.
