The project aims to enhance the living conditions of individuals aged 55 and above in rural areas of the Galicia–Northern Portugal Euroregion by developing innovative and technology-enabled social intervention models.
Actions include mobile social service units, “age-friendly” housing environments, and digital home solutions that link isolated rural seniors to care, support networks and community resources.
It is a cross-border cooperation initiative engaging public authorities, social service organizations and technology partners to build a dense support network designed to address the demographic challenge of rural ageing.
