Eduardo Rodríguez Banga obtained his degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 1990 and his Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering in 1996, both from the University of Vigo. He has been a professor at the School of Telecommunications Engineering since 1991, initially as an Associate Professor and since 1997 as a Full Professor. His research has been primarily focused on signal processing, particularly in the processing of voice signals. His most recent research works are related to speech synthesis techniques and statistical machine translation. He has been the principal investigator in several national projects and has supervised three doctoral theses. The results of his research have been published in prestigious international journals and conferences.
