Pablo Torío graduated as a Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Vigo in 1995 and obtained his Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the same university in 2005. He began his professional career at Sasib Railway (now ALSTOM) as a Signaling and Communications Engineer in Madrid. In 1997, he worked for TYPSA in Madrid as a Project Engineer. In 1998, he joined the University of Vigo, where he is currently an associate professor. He also holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Vigo and is an official operator of the Financial Futures and Options Market in Spain (MEFF). His research interests primarily focus on impulsive noise and digital communication.
